The objectives of BRDC are to:
- Provide a high standard of practical skills training to young school leavers living in rural communities in Mbale district.
- Enable access to practical skills training for underprivileged individuals.
- Develop the literacy ability of students and rural communities in order to enhance their opportunities for worthwhile employment, self employment and/or further education.
- Provide holistic education to young adults, equipping them with knowledge and skills to support themselves, their families and their communities.
- Enable the community to develop total self-reliance.
- Provide a high standard of early learning education for children aged 3 – 5 in the Mbale district.
- Facilitate the development of important life skills such as confidence, responsibility, presentation, teamwork, reliability, honesty, self-respect and respect for others.
- Through the demonstration farm, to act as an example in agricultural practices to the surrounding community.
- To enhance spiritual development amongst the youth and community with whom we work.
